What's That Piece?
Art Pieces Explained, featuring Lisa Boehlke
Lisa Boehlke is a retired teacher who has had a lifelong passion for capturing images of people, nature and things from around the world. She and Painter Felicia Sherrod had a phone conversation and talked about one particular photo of Lisa's.
FS: So, tell me about this photo. Where was it taken?
Lisa: That was taken in Plaza din. Its near many historical attractions. This place is a transportation hub so there is always a lot going on.
FS: What caught your eye
Lisa: I couldn't believe how still these two men were. There is no way that I could sit still that long. I thought, what's the illusion here because obviously the man on top isn't really sitting on air.
FS: So, he isn't?
Lisa: No, most people just go by and are impressed. It took many many times to pass before I finally looked at what he was sitting on.
FS: This seems like a great conversation piece. Similar to a where's Waldo page.
